Educational leaders are charged with ensuring all students receive equitable access to a high-quality education. Yet equity is more than an action. It is a lens through which we continuously review instructional practices and student supports. By developing inclusive and responsive practices, educators can ensure students feel they belong and see themselves in their learning while adapting to their unique needs and honoring perspectives. Through this lens, educators can be more responsive to data that shows unequal outcomes for student groups.

You will learn to use a framework and tool for evaluating equity using key inclusive and responsive practices like SEL, culturally responsive learning, and DEI. And take away critical attributes of equity work, reflecting on their current practices to identify key strategies that will enhance learning for all students.
